Hey guys, Im getting new tires soon and i want to get new wheels, but........ I dont want to spend 600 knowing i might only have the truck another year or two. So, I decided I'm going to "rhino line" the stock fx4 wheels, because i really like the wheels, and because all i want are black wheels. I was wondering if anyone had pics of painted, powder coated, rhino lined etc. fx4 wheels

I'd power coat them... vs. Rhino line. while I like the idea it might make the wheels way heavy and cause the truck to ride funny..

Just my thoughts.. I've powder coated motorcycle wheels with no problem..

Can any of you guys tell me what it cost to powder coat? and how well they are holding up? Have some polished alums that I want to do something with.

 

Mine were $65/wheel for the color and additional $10/wheel for the clear. So $75x4 = $300 which i thought was a pretty fair price. The clear coat helped a ton I'm sure, out here they don't use salt, just Magnesium Chloride and has held up pretty well.
