Which tires would be best?

I am trying to decide on a set of tires to put on my 2009 fx4 screw for more of an aggressive look. I mostly drive on road but once in blue moon, may need an off road tire. This is my everyday driver so also worry about how many miles these tires will get on them before needing replaced. I have been looking at a few different types as follows: Toyo Open Country Mt, Nitto Terra Grappler All-Terrain, Mickey Thompson Baha MTZ, or **** Cepeck Radial Fun Country 2 and **** Cepeck Radial Mud Country. Has anyone traveled on these tires much? Any feedback to which ones would be best for the everyday driver mostly on pavement but some off-road? Thanks for all feedback received in advance.

Those tires are all excellent and have recieved great reviews. I think you will be better served with one of the all terrian tires. I'd also add the BFG AT KO, Toyo AT, Mickey Thompson ATZ and Pro Comp Xtreme AT to your list.

Go with BFG TA/KO's best performance, proven design, great company, they have a 40K mile warranty as well. It's a classic aggressive look that you will love having.

Also, from experience the BFG AT KO's will easily last 60,000 miles with proper care.

6 years and a lil over 47,000 miles (don't drive my truck that often) on my BFG AT KO's. They still look great and have plenty of tread left. It's been a great tire.

Another vote for the BFG AT KO's, I am gonna throw another tire that caught my eye in the mix, the Hankook Dynapro ATM Rf10, they look like a great tire and the reviews all seem good. I would stay away from a mud tire unless you need one, they good but they are a tire that is designed to tackle the nasty stuff, a good AT tire is more than enough tire for moderate offroading and will perform better on the street.

I have the hankook dyna-pro and they have been pretty awesome. This the first time for the RF-10 but have the hankooks on most of the company trucks and your gonna get the mileage out of them. They also are very quiet on the road. I have the LT275/65R20 and there is very little difference in the ride compared to the pirellis.

I am running the **** cepek fun country II's and love them. 90% highway driving. Little hum on the highway but not bad at all. Seem to be wearing pretty good but only have just under a year on them. Highly recommended. Not the best snow grip, but other then that awesome!!

You'd be better suited to an A/T of some sort. I've been running a 295/70/17 Nitto Terra Grappler for about 2500 miles. Great tire, even in the 7"+ of snow we received this week
