Need opinions on what wheel/tire combo????

This is a 2006 F-150, with 2" Leveling kit, Stock 17" wheels, and 295/70/17. I like this set up but was looking around to see how I could beef it up.

I like the Nitto's. I had the procomp xtreme all terrain 305/65/17, they were fine but lost a little height.

Also wondering if I should do the "add-a-leaf"

Would you go with a bigger wheel? 18" or 20" (tires for 20" may be to high for me)

Opinions welcome.

More pics in My album!!!!

You dont think you can attach pics to individual posts. I upload them to my profile here or to a photobucket account.

Actually I think I read somewhere on here that Rockpick would prefer you upload an image to your profile and then post. Under your User CP there is a Pictures and Albums link. Click on that and then add album. Add the album and then add pictures to that album. After the pictures are added then it will give you a link called BB code beneath them to copy so you can post them in a thread. I can do a how to if you need one. As for the number of posts before you can post pics I think it is 10 but am not certain. Do a search and see. As for tires and rims. I prefer mine, naturally. . Specs are in my signature.

That looks good! That tire measures 34 and fills up the wheel well.

I really like the look of the guys with stock 20" wheels (2006-2008) and 285/65/20 BFG's. I just dont like some of these aftermarket wheels. Anyone know a good place to find the OEM wheels? They have some ebay?

I have a 2.5" leveling kit on my 2004 Ford F150 and am running 20x9 with 35x12.5R20 on it. I love the look and have no troubles.

I would recommend the add a leaf, I did it and I'm super happy with it. It made the rear 1.5" higher than the front on mine but it's barely noticeable unless you're looking hard for it. In my opinion perfectly level always looks like its sagging a bit. To look beefier, black rims always make your tires look bigger, and the smaller the rim, the beefier the tire looks. Cheers.

Derrick I am asking the same question as the post two above except some more specifics.

I have been trying to decide on a tire. In looking at you pictures I think I have found something that will work (albeit a little more expensive). With the **** Cepek 35X12.5R20 on XD Addict 20X9 rims with a -12 offset / 4.5" BS will they fit a 2007 FX4 with AS 2.5 level and AS AAL?

It seems to me since this tire is a little less than 35"s it would work and it seems your pictures prove that (except unsure if yours if -12 OS or ??? and would that matter). Do you have any rubbing or did you have to do any trimming?

I will be looking forward to your reply.

Thanks,

KD
