New wheels.....got a question

I just picked up a set of 17x9 Eagle Alloy 187 wheels and I'm thinking about changing the color to black. The wheels are 2 months old and are in like-new condition. My question is, what would be better and would last the longest, powder coating or paint and clear.

Powdercoating is much more durable.

Definitely agree with wandell. Powdercoating should last a lot longer and the application process is a lot faster. With powdercoating, you don't have to wait for it to dry like you do with paint and clear.

Thanks for the input. That's what I figured, but I wasn't sure.
