They are made in Taiwan, if that's any help. Discount Tire is supposedly the distributor for them. If you don't expect much out of them I don't think you'll be disappointed. I've never seen this particular tire on the road but I have seen trucks with Federal brand tires. I didn't see anything outstanding or bad about them. I would assume because of price, they are a short life tire.

I am running a set of 35 12.50 20 Federal Couragia MT's I have had them for a year and a half and 40k+ miles... I love them and I wish that they came in a 37 or 38 or I would buy those... but they don't! What do you want to know about them... they have a great tread pattern and are a really nice tire with a great price!!!!

i had a set of 30x9.50r15s on my old jeep cherokee and they did pull really good and they seemed to wear good up until i had about 25k on them, then the side walls started blowing out one by one lol but they were pretty old by that time. and a buddy of mine had a set of them in a 35 for a 20 on a 4 door GMC 2500 hd and he drove on them for like 3 months with no signs of wear then he rolled the truck twice and wrapped it around a pole and totalled it. and the tires were the only thing that didnt get hurt. he now has that same set on a yukon and there still looking pretty good. but for the price you cant beat em, overall it aint no nitto or toyo but still a good tire.

I have a set of 35x12.5x20's. Only have a little over 3K miles on them but I like them so far. The only thing I can say bad about them is that I don't think they do very well in snow. But other than that I like them

not many mud tires do well in snow or at least ive never had any. well thats good news. im game for trying new stuff. I guess they have a black wall. i dont like the white letters out. Ill rock them out as soon as i sell my tires. Keep up the good info fellas. I was just wanting to know ride quality/performance/mileage....If jeep guys like them, they must not be too bad. they normally use them

Mine did exceptional in the snow a year ago... not so well this year as they have lower tread. and I have NEVER had a problem with the side wall. No problems at all I love them. But I'm fixing to put my 38's on. I'll probably sell the ones I have they still have half tread left.
