08 Limited Wheel Question

Hello fellas,
I was wondering if you guys could give me a hand. I am trying to get some OEM F150 wheels for my 2008 Ford F-150 Super Crew Limited. I am looking for the smaller compatible wheels for my truck. I'm in Colorado, and I'm planning on swapping the stock 22's that came in the truck for smaller OEM wheels w/ snow tires. The reason why I'm trying to go smaller is because the snow tires are cheaper on smaller size. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

We do not carry any OEM wheels but you can find some smaller wheels on our site for your truck at http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=BZ1&url=/index_w.jsp

Tire rack was the first place I checked. My issue with the Tire rack website is that it doesn't have my specific model in the drop down. If I for example picked the Harley Davidson, it will only show me 22" wheels and up. My truck came with 22"s but I would like to go with 17"s or smaller. Do you have an affordable 17" wheel compatible with my truck? If so, Would you be so kind as to point me on the right direction plz? Thank you in advance for your time.

I am not sure, but this is something you will need to check on a HD forum. Since your truck is AWD and has a different drive train than the rest of us, check what offset and what minimum rim it can accept because of the brakes/suspension. Just because a 2wd or 4wd can take it doesnt always mean your truck can.

Once you figure that out you can manually change the rim size in the drop downs.

I have a 08 Limited AWD as well, I bought some 17" oem wheels from a guy I found on Kijiji in a little town nearby they are the same offset +44, then I bought and installed a set of Firestone Winterforce UV tires Size 265/70/17 and they are awesome, feel like I'm drivin a tank and we get snow here in Alberta like you folks in Colorado. No Issues what so ever. The overall diameter is the same but the narrower width makes them bite better in the snow. I also changed my summer tires last fall to a little wider size 285/45/22 Yokohama Parada Spec X they look great on the 22's.

Both sets were purchased online from Tire rack and Shipped from Nevada. Great service 7 days from there to Calgary and no problems crossing the border!!!

Damn!! That's so great. I've been waiting for any sort of feedback for quite a while. As you know, The OEM 22" tires are just useless in the snow. I already got the 17" OEM chrome wheels in my garage. I paid US$293. including shipping for the set of four with only 5 miles in them. The ones I gat are the cheap chrome OEM 17", but I couldn't resist the price. I'll be getting some tires and get them mounted ASAP. Would it be too much to ask to see some pics of your truck with the 17" installed? either way, thanks again for taking your time. Best regards. Say hi to beautiful Canada for me.

Here are the pictures I promised

The Pics aren't the greatest, all I had with me was my crappy Olympus Camera and it was -21 C outside so the lense fogged a little. The tire size as mentioned is 265/70/17, they are Firestone Winterforce.

Hope this helps to give an idea what they look like on the 08 Limited.
