i just put a 2 1/2 leveling kit with 305/55/20 terra grapplers and 20" hoss wheels on a 2010 f150. had the truck 3 hours before i got a warning light and a message saying "tire pressure monitoring system failure."
any ideas as to what this could be from ?

Maybe a sensor was damage while being switched from one wheel to another.

I have to ask, did you move the sensors to the new wheels?

You do have a valve type sensor on your truck. If the psi is up where it should be on all 4 tires, then it is possible the sensor was damaged. Wondering the same thing as kingfish51, are these new sensors or did you transfer them from the old wheels to the new?

I would say the wheels you have ordered are not TPMS compatiable. If the company you purchased the wheels from does not have the correct sensor you might just be out of luck. I would recommend calling the company you bought the wheels from and asking them.

There is also another way to mount them. Someone on this board posted a picture of a mount that uses the strap method (like 07-08 F150s), but mounts the valve stem type sensors. Can't recall where it is, but probably either in this forum or the 09 up forum. That way you would not have to change wheels. However if the tire manufacturer has a valve stem that will work, that would be better.
