Vibration when braking

My 07 f150 4x4 is developing a vibration when braking at highways speeds? Is this my rotors? Is it the front or rear?

Could be the rotors. As for front or rear, that would be up to you to figure out since you are driving the vehicle. I would assume the front, but could be both. Might also be uneven build up of break pad material on the rotors causing the vibration.

I have new Wagner pads all the way around within 10k miles.

I have 4 brand new Wagner rotors in the garage, I just need to bolt em on. I am going to do the front first.

Can anyone point me to a good how to article for front rotors on my 07 F150 4x4?

OK So I did my fronts with Wagner rotors and that cured the vibration!

Hopefully these will last a little longer that stockers.

If you make sure that the lug nuts are torqued properly (150 ft lbs), then it is unlikely the rotors will warp again.

usually if you feel the vibration in the steering wheel it's from the front rotors. I f you feel pulsating in the pedal it in the rear rotors.

The OEM brake lines (rubbers) are junk IMO. They break down inside, then don't supply the juice needed for our twin piston systems. In-turn, you'll eventually waste a new set of pads once they have had a little time to wear incorrectly,- which is the result of improper caliper piston pressure, - root problem being the rubber supply lines.

That's what happen to me with two different Fords. I've pulled a car hauler for years with the 98 and had the same problem. I replaced everything but the lines and my front pads would wear on a diagnal, then vibrate to a stop.

Finally I swapped out the lines with a braided set/ new pads AGAIN (lifetime warrenty)/ Rotors cleaned up.

That worked, finally, she stopped on a dime, loaded! Couldn't believe the difference, she braked like a new truck again. My pads are wearing evenly and not the least little vibration.
