Snow Tires

I'm in the market for snow/winter tires for my stock 18" wheels (they're currently off). I've found some that are a really good deal, but I'm not sure if they'll fit my SuperCrew FX4. They're 245/60-28. Should I be concerned about the profile height, width, etc...? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that 245/60-28 tires will NOT fit on your 18" rims...

But perhaps you mean 245/60-R18 ?

The tire manufacturer should state what bead width rim the tire will fit on. I'd be worried that a 245 may be too skinny to seal well on the bead... but check the wheel and check the tire info and that will decide it for you.

Other than that, a skinnier tire is generally better in the snow so you should be OK.

The stock size on FX4 is 275-65-R18 by the way... So using this tire will change your speed so you will need to reprogram your speedo...
