Sorry for the lack of info..it was half dark and I hadn't gotten my first cup of coffee yet. Saw something dangling from the truck this morning on the right back rear tire. It was a metal hose? I tried to locate where the break was from and could not find it. The metal piece attaches to the rear tire and looks like some sort of brake line...but no fluid was leaking. Any help on the name of this part and why that would break?

after further examination i think it is my e-brake cable. it looks like it goes back to a "T" at the rear axle...should this be cheap fix?

 

is the tip still on it?

They tend to fall out sometimes... if the tip is still on it then just put it back in and you are OK...

so yes, it would be a cheap (FREE) fix
