Abs on when not needed

Have an 04 4.6 with 185000 on it, every once and a while, usually on the first drive of the day, the abs kicks on when braking about 5mph to a stop. The pedal physically pulses along with the noise. Happens every time you brake. After the drive, I shut it off, run in a store, come back out and it doesnt do it again. Any ideas?

maybe a bad speed sensor?

Is your ABS light ever on?
Have you tried pulling codes?

I am having the same issue with my 04 5.4, abs light is not on but every time I go to stop it kicks in and the pedal jumps and makes a weird noise, it usually does it under 15 mph any ideas??

Edit: I searched for speed sensor and I am not sure that is the problem because all of my wheels do this not just one. If this is the problem anyone know how to figure out which one to replace?
