buying online, USA to canada

I'm looking for some monster's or spy's for my 07 f150 and some 35's but the prices around here are nuts compared to everything online. has anyone on here from Canada shipped any wheelsets over from the states lately? is it worth it? I know the shipping is around $380 for 4 complete wheels but if there aren't anymore fees besides tax that still means I'll be saving $700+! I'm not worried about brokerage because I know how to get around that but if anyone has any info or another way how to save on wheels in Vancouver let me know!
ps:driving across and putting the tires on to drive back is not an option. a friend did that several weeks ago and when he drove back he claimed them at the border but the guards where suspicious and wanted to look inside his rubber....so they did. left him stranded with 4 peeled wheels at the border. I know this is rare but why bother when I could just eliminate the chance and get them delivered.

You can shop at Tire Rack and we ship to Canada all the time. Enter the year/make/model of the vehicle and then click on wheels. This will bring up all the wheels we have that will fit your truck. Just add the item to the cart and from there you can get the shipping cost. The total price delivered will include the wheels, shipping, taxes, duties, ect... Merchandise can get to you in 3-6 business days.

If you live close to or are willing to drive to the border you can see if the place you buy from will ship them to a UPS Depot, then you just go pick them up. I got my summer tires from tirerack and thats what I did, just make sure you bring your receipt, you should have no issues with customs, unless you get the power mad b!tch I had who didn't believe the price on the receipt and emptied the bed of my truck looking for who knows what.

That's what I do, except I ship to a UPS store downtown Detroit. For Fedex, I ship to their depot in Livonia. Other than that, you're f'd.
