Powder Coating?

I have 18" rims and would like to powder coat them matt black. How much would something like that cost?

I've actually been shopping around (St Louis area) for this very thing...my wheels need something. I've found a range of about $160 for a guy that's running a shop at his house, but supposedly does great work all the way up to $280 for a pro shop with 6,000 color options. These are the two extremes I've found so a very, very reasonable project. Just looking for the downtime to get mine done. I'd go with the pro shop for mine, but they're a few hundred miles away which makes it pretty cost prohibitive. I'll probably go with the local guy if he has the color I want and will guarantee my satisfaction.

Galaxy - is that $160 per wheel or total for 4 wheels?

I looked into this earlier in the year and was quoted $70 per wheel for a guy I know that does it out of his garage. (technically he quoted me $60 but that was with a $10 discount)

The quote was to "media blast and powder coat with black gloss finish"

hope this helps!

Average price is 50$ - 70$ per rim based on color, condition and rim size.
