New Tires & Rims
New Tires & Rims
Finally I have my Trail Grapplers (295/70/18) and XD Monsters (18x9; BS=5.71 mm) on. No rubbing at all with the 2.5" level kit. Still might do some slight trimming because it's tight at times. The pictures below show that. Sorry for the quality of the pics but it was dark and raining. Actually put the wheels on in the rain because I didn't want to wait and I couldn't wait on better pics to start this thread. When it stops raining and is sunny I will clean up the truck and post better pics. All the clearance pics are of the front tires driver side (passenger side similar). If anybody wants different angles on the pics let me know and I'll get them.
And I drove the truck at about 60 mph for about three miles around some good curves and I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference in the ride between the Trail Grapps and other vehicles I have own with BFG AT KOs. You feel the height difference a bit and hear a slight hum with the radio off.

Hope these help. Again, better pics are coming.

Thanks man. Rarely do I get exactly what I want when I order something online but this was one of those times.
And BTW, I switched over the TPMS by myself using aftermarket bands and cradles and as no warning lights. So I must have done that correct because it had been on while I was running my spare.

Few more pics.

It depends on the trim work you want to do. I eventually had to do some trim work on the front valence. I'll post pics. There are offset diffences that may change the trim though. I imagine with a 2" kit the trim would be even worse. And then you would have to trim the back part of the fender as well. Nice rig though. Love that red.
Thanks everyone for the compliments.
Nope, nothing needed on the back.
Thanks, I am leaving mine chrome. Polished SS tips out the back, chrome steps on the side, and I will be adding a black and chrome bull bar. I think that will be a nice symmetrical look.
