I had a RF Balance accomplished this past week by a local tire dealer and a small flat spot was found on one of the 17" oem alloy wheels. I ordered a new wheel from an online store for half the cost of the Ford dealer.

My question is, can I swap the tpms from the damaged wheel to the new oem wheel or do I need to purchase new tpms sensor hardware? I searched numerous threads but could not find an exact answer to my question.
