I got a new black 2wd 2010 f150 and im thinking about putting some 22 inch black xd series monsters on it but i wanted to ask about getting them either powder coated or paint. The flat black looks ok in all but i really wanted to get them powder coated or painted gloss black to match the truck and leave the little chrome rivets and such exactly how they are. Does anyone have any recommendations to what to do between getting the professionally painted or powder coated?? Which looks the best, which is more durable and lasts longer. which is cheaper etc. I am located in Houston Texas so if anyone also has any recommendations on a good place to get this done that would be great. And also if anyone has a general idea of price per wheel? I had a friend get a quote from a powder coating shop awhile back and he said somewhere around 50 bucks per wheel. That sounds pretty good to me??

The best thing to do is check locally for cost. Having them done while they are new is the way to go. Should be pretty easy on that wheel. $50 sound like an awesome price.
