brakes

just got laid off so i dont have money to take my truck in right now but just a question..i have a 2005 fx4 with 35's and i wanted to know how long the oem brake pads should last. i have 47000 miles right now, i tow a little bit other than that mostly highway miles. use wifes fusion for around-town. anyways, any input with someone with similar set-up would be helpful. thanks.

its pretty much impossible to say, since it depends on your driving style.

Just check them regularly.

Make sure you change them BEFORE they wear out or you'll also be replacing the rotors. If you change them in time you can usually re-use the rotors.

Mileage can vary widely depending on the driver and how the vehicle is driven. I would pop off a front wheel and just check them to see where your at.

As mentioned...an impossible question. You could literally get 30,000 miles out of a set of brakes that would last me 80,000...or vice versa.
