Toyo Tire Pressure Question..

I'll start off saying that yes, I've done the search function. Seems the norm is 40-45#. First question is more towards when do you set tire pressure. Where I am living now we have about a 20 degree C change in daily temp. My tire pressure seems to fluctuates 4#s from morning to evening just sitting. Do I set it in the morning or after a drive when its hot.

I was thinking of running the tires at 40 or 45 front, and 40 rear. Although I don't get full tread contact on the rears at 40 so I might drop it down to 35.

Tires are 33X12.5R18. What's everybody's thoughts.

Thanks

So when do you set the pressure? Before you drive in the morning? Trying to figure out what the best baseline time to set the pressure is.

45 even in the back eh? Seems high with no load. I would do that when I'm towing or have a payload.

Never put air in after driving. Always before driving when tires are cold. Best time is when outside temp is about 72. If that is not possible, use the tire pressure vs temp sticky at the top to figure what pressure to use to have 45psi at 72 degrees.

You are using 45, but don't say what load range and max pressure the tire is. If it is a LR D with a max of 65, or LR E with a max of 65, that is about right. If a LR E with a max of 80, that is a bit low. If a LR C, max of 50, that is a bit high.

Always best to set the air pressure first thing in the morning. This link might help you understand it better.
