wheel offset question

hey guys im currently runing 285 60 18s on stock wheels. Looking to get after market wheels. The wheels I picked have 2 options: -12 or +12 offset. Any recomendations? My truck is a 2wd.

I would go with the +12 offset to keep the tires from sticking out past the fenders.

did u have to lift or level to run ur tires
