Need time-sensitive suggestion for some 235/70r-16 tires.....
OK, so long story short...........In-laws riding Harley from California to Wisconsin......crash on I-40 at Cali/Nevada border. Bad situation. Both hospitalized, etc. etc.
Wife is over in Nevada now at Hospital and I left car there. I'll probably be doing follow-up trips now but have only done round-town driving in the F150 for the last 3 years!! (Like 3K miles/yr max!!)
Tires are BF Goodrich Land Terrain 235/70-16's and have been fine for 6 years, still plenty of tread, but cracked as all get out now. Not worried around town, but time for new tires if I'm making unforseeable trips back & forth every weekend to NV.
Suggestions for good/cheap tires as of the this week???
(Prolly drivin' out Friday/Saturday)
TIA gang. It's been a long couple weeks!
(Not without irony, in-laws' Metzler rear tire blew & caused their Harley accident!!)
