I am looking at the Toyo M/t open country 33" tires for my truck. Are these good tires? if there are any better for the same price ~150 per tire, whats their brand and name. Thank you

Put these on my truck last November and have 15k miles on them. These are mud tires you can drive everyday on the highway and still offroad when you want to. Tires are heavy and pricey but if you want mt's these are a great choice. BFG mt's and Nitto trail grapplers are nice too.
i have mickey thompson atz and love them very agressive tread. there are a little cheaper than toyo's but of course wont produce as well in deep mud but i've been in some thick clay and mud and in 4x4 never spun them. and with 11k on them since april there holding strong
yea, the thing is though, I really like the look of the tires on the truck, I dont know about getting a lift though. Is there a more cost efficient thing i can do and still get the tires?
What about a 2 or 2 1/2" leveling kit. These are inexpensive and will let you clear the 33's.
Get a leveling kit 2-2.5" ~$75-80 and have it installed/get an alignment ~$200
I have toyo MT's (33x12.5x20) with a 2" autospring Leveling kit. Love them. They are pricey but they work great. I do mostly highway driving and have 15K on them and barely showing any wear. I rotate every 5K miles though and keep them at 45 PSI. Try Rimzoneonline.com for better pricing depending on shipping charges.

really? only $80? I thought those things were like 1000 bucks hah. How does that affect driving compared to how they were before (like smoothness, turning) and can i still haul things? I will be mostly on pavement too so i still want a pretty comfortable ride.
what do you guys think of this kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=140441615204
I dont know much about this, so i need a lot of input.

I have the AS 2" kit on my 2007 FX4 and it raised the front of my truck almost 2 3/4". I replaced the 2" factory blocks in the rear with 3" ReadyLift Blocks to give me some of my rake back.
