3' lift or ???

i have a stock f150 and am upgrading to a 33' tire and am thinking of going with a 3" lift. will this give me a noticable difference or should i go higher? and if higher is it as simple as adding a 1'ch block on top of the rear. and im thinking of using a 3 inch round block for the front shock tower, i know with that i will need a alignment but if i were to go a slightly higher what other components will i have to change. as well as a place i can get these items for the best price. i intend on installing this on my own. thanks for any input and advice

Im running the 1.5" daystar leveling spacers on my truck rught now and the box says i can fit 33s on it. Im running a tire thats 32.6 right now and i have plenty of room.

Youll read alot of comments on here about once you start lifting, youll want to go higher and higher and this is true. if you do the spacer, youll want the 3", and if you do the 3" then youll want the 6" and so on.

It comes down to what you can afford to put on but you can fit 33s with just a levelingkit

If you have a 2000, you have torsion bars. You can't add a block to the front. All you can do is turn up the torsion bars to get some more lift in front. I have a 2001, and I did that, but still can't get to level because I ran out of adjustment. Your only other option is a suspension lift with rear blocks, or a body lift. I think a lot of guys will tell you that 33's will fit on a stock truck, but I'm planning on a body lift and 33's.

33's or 35's will look great with a body lift. I have pics of both in my gallary, as well as 33's at stock height.

No with the torsion keys. You just use the stock ones. Just jack the front up and there is a screw and turn each one the same amount until you get the desired height you want. Then get an alignment.

You have a 2000 Ford F150 right?
Then you are just overlooking the torsion bars. Lay under your truck about mid driver door and look on the inside of the frame rail for a round bar running alongside it up to the front. Easiest mod to do if you ask me.
I just turned mine 4.5 turns and achieved 2 full inches of lift.

If you have a spring it's two wheel drive right?? Then you'll have to get a level kit is all I know of. And those are easy to put in. Just jack the front up lower the spring and shock assembly and you put a spacer on top and reassemble.
