Exclamation Decided on wheels/tires. Question on size. Last one I promise.

Ok, like I said. This will be my last wheel/tire question I promise. My last deal on the MT/R w/kevlar fell through so...

I'm really indecisive when it comes to mods, especially wheels/tires because they are so damn expensive.

Anyway....

I'm going to go with the Ultra Wheel Gauntlet
Specs on wheels are:
17x9 5.98 backspacing and 25 mm offset
OR
18x9 5.98 backspacing and +25mm offset

I'll be wrapping them in Nitto Trail Grapplers.

I'm going back and forth between

17x9 w/295/70/17 (33.5x11.9) total price $1684
or
18x9 w/295/70/18 (34.5x11.7) total price $1776

That's assuming I don't opt for the $133 tire warranty through discount tire. Is that worth it?

My question is will the 34.5 tire fit with just the 2" leveling kit on my 2010 4x4? I was initially after a 17" wheel because of extra sidewall and tire prices but the difference is only $100 for the wheel/tire package. With the inch difference I'm not even sure someone would notice it on the truck and essentially the two packages have the same amount of sidewall.

Opinions? Comments? I'll be ordering tomorrow morning

I think they will fit fine. Personally, I'd go with 18's.

I'm leaning towards the 18's. The lip/spokes look a lot better on the 18.

Crossing my fingers they fit with minimal trimming.

I've seen the GUnner6 Wheels with 35's on a leveled truck....
the GUnner 6's have a 18x8.5 w/+25mm offset.
Te Tires were the BFG KM2's....minor trimming was needed nbut they fit fine.

Your setup will be no prob I am guessing!
