Ive never personally ran them but ive heard good things about the hankook dynapro rf10s. there was a 4x4 magazine sight that ran test with them compared to the BFG ATs and all though they werent as good off road, the highway performance was alot better

For what it's worth, I had Michelin LTX MS on my expy. Loved them for highway travel. Very quiet. They were good in rain and snow as well. I have the original Wrangler AT/S on my '04 F-150. I have 54,000+ on them and just now looking to replace them. I would consider buying them again.

I have hankook atM's now. I don't really like them that much, i just picked them up real cheap. I wish i had my bfg's back. Both tires wear good tho. prolly 60-70k out of the hankook's. I've heard of people getting 100k out of the bfg's. The bfg's perform better offroad and on-road imo, especially in the rain. BFG at's look way more aggressive too. The bfg is a better tire all around. Only got about 15-20k more miles before the km2's or AT's can't decide but def going bfg myself.

Don't sacrifice because price. If you really keep an eye on your tires and you wanna be satisfied, you gotta go with the bfg at's
Good luck

Just hit 50k on my Nitto terra Grapplers, and they still have a decent tread left but have to start looking for replacement soon. Might end up with the same tire. (325-60-18)

I'm a little late on the responses here, but I drove from Anchorage, AK to Augusta, GA on brand new Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo II's, a 6,000 mile trip. Never once did I even hear the tires on the highway, all the way up to 90 mph . They have great handling and might even have boosted my mpg a little. I can only compare them to the studded BFG AT's it came with though.

The downside is, I went to the beach at Ft Fisher, NC, where you can drive out on the sand. It did OK on the compacted and wet sand, but in the loose sand I thought I was going to get stuck even with limited slip turning all four wheels. I didn't ever stop, so they passed my test.

I 100% agree.

You are probably right about the sand too. There tread design is not "ideal" for sand. But they are great AT tire.

BFG's are the better tire for sure. A lot of the guys like the Gereral Grabbbers in the beginning but not in the end. They wear faster and are noisier.

tires

I have had good luck with the BFG's and would buy them again, as well kuhmo tires are on my truck now, I must say they have been a great tire, very quiet on the highway, and have been great in the snow. Haven't been in the mud with them yet so can't give any comments on this.

Paw Paw love the tires and look of your truck with the 17's on it, I think thats what I will be doing with my truck.

tires

I have the general Grabber AT2 (275/65/18) and I got to say these tires have been great and have had no problems. I have put roughly 20,000 miles and cant tell of hardly any wear. Quiet on the road, perform great in snow, rain, and dirt, and look great and were the cheapest tire out there.
