Exclamation Rear brake issue on 04

I used my emergency brake over the past weekend. Pretty sure something broke. I keep having issues in the moring when i go to back out of the garage. Its like one or both of the rear brakes are locked up. sometimes i have to rock the truck back and forth to get it rolling again.

I dont ever remember using the e-brake prior to last weekend. I do belive something broke when i set it. Both cables are still fine and connected.
I have not had time to get the wheels off and disassemble the rear brakes.
Thought i might ask around to see if anyone else has had issues before I go bustin things up..

Anyone have pic's of the rear brake componets? Does the e-brake use the rear brake pads to simply clamp the brake calapers? Or is there a seperate pad/shoe for the e-brake?
Any input aperishiated.

There is a separate drum brake for the e-brake. Rear rotor looks like a hat, with the center section being for the e-brake. There is a start wheel that can be used to adjust the e-brake. For whatever reason, the 04 e-brake has been a problem to many, including causing vibration.

Dear lord!! I had an easier time changing my spark plugs then getting the rear rotors off..
Anyways just as suspected (only on the drivers side) the parking brake shoes had rusted to the point where the shoe material had fallen off the shoes. It all fell out in a pile once i finally got the rotor off.
Local parts store did not have the parking brake shoes in stock. So i just removed all the material and put everything back together (using anti-seize on the rotor). Then unhooked the parking brake cable where it connects to the brake drums. No parking brake for now.
And no more problems.
