Turning rotors on 07

I have a slight shake in my 07 Harley when braking and I am pretty sure it is the front rotors. However, it seems like I read somewhere that the rotors on these truck shave to be turned on the truck? Is this true? I really just want to do the job myself and take them to a local shop but if they have to be turned on the truck, well, I guess I will have to pay. Thanks in advance for the help

4x2 has to be done on the truck. 4x4 can be done off. It's because the bearings are built into the rotor on the 4x2.

Some of your brake shops and places like Firestone. Just depends on the equipment they have. Possibly your dealer. It may be worth it to go ahead and buy new rotors. If they warpped once, they will probably warp again and they will be even thinner, so may not take as much heat.

Bro I just went through it a couple months back on my 07. Go and save yourself the head-ache of calling around ( i did that) and seeing who has the right arbors for the job ( no-ne does but dealership). Also, 99.9% of the shops are gonna try and sell you the spindlenut for each side ($50), cause it's in thier shop manuals for the needed parts. Funny thing is Ford re-uses them when they do the brake jobs.
Anyhow, go get some new Napa rotors and Thermo-Quiets and do them youself, cut rotors don't last long...
