while on long trip my 01 2wd 4.2l passenger side brakes(front and rear) were dragging i pulled over at a mc D's and called the dealer and they told me they have never heard of that. the fluid was black when i flushed the system in the parking lot. any tips i could do before i replace the hoses?

 

Take a caliper off and try to press the piston in...if it won't press in, loosen the bleeder screw....then try to press it in...if it presses in than it's collapsed hose. And naturally if it still is locked it's the caliper. :-)
