I am looking at lifting my 2000 6.5 inches and want to put 35's on it. I was curious how my gas mileage would be effected. Any input is appreciated

 

Well it would help to know motor size and rear end gear but you'll be looking at 10 to 15 tops, also driving style will make a difference

 

I just put 35's on my '07 and I haven't had a chance to manually check it yet but according to the average MPG on the dash, it went from 16.1 to 15.7. Of course I only have about 100 miles on it since the swap so I'm sure that "average" will continue to drop a little more.

 

Rough guess on my Expedition[4.6] went down at least 1.5-2.0 mpg going from 33,s to 35,s. Yes, I checked and double checked.

 

OK.SEcondly does nayone have any ideas on if the 35's will fit on my truck?

 

Should have no problems with a 6" lift

 

It is a 2wd though
