Black Wheels! wax?

Black Wheels! wax?
Well I decided to apply wax on my xd wheels, now they have a ugly white residual left behind after it got cold here for few days, what do you guys use, I want to get a wet look to them.

I would buy a bottle of quick detailer and give them a good bath with it. The residue should come off. If not, it won't hurt them to wipe down with mineral spirits.
