I have the chrome Maxx6 wheels on my truck, they are 4 years old and starting to develop some minor pitting, 2 spots the size of a poppy seed on 1 wheel and 1 spot the same size on another. I have NEVER ran these wheels in the winter, so they have never seen salt. They get polished and waxed 2-3 times a year, including before they are taken off and stored for the winter, and they also get wash usually once a week or when I wash the truck.

I was just wondering WTF is going on here, I have NEVER had anything like this happen to any other wheels that I have ever had. Heck a 15 yo set of wheels that I have for my 94 F150 (that get ran in the winter) are in just about the same condition.

Any thoughts?
