front brakes delayed release question

My 97 f150 front brakes are sticking, They do not seem be dragging, just sticking for a few seconds after I let off the brake. calipers, rotors, and pads were changed a few years ago. wheels and rotors do not get hot after driving it or no hot smell. I put it up on the jack and had the wife step on the brakes while I spun the wheels, wheels stay engaged for about 2 seconds, but then are fully released. Any ideas? It does still have the original brake lines. both sides are acting exactly the same. Thanks for any help

1997 2wd f150 83 k (yes 83,000)

Thanks!

Geo

I have about the same problem on my 97 F150 with 85000 miles. I think I have narrowed it down to an obstruction in the brake line not letting the fluid flow back to the master cylinder in a timely matter. I have replaced everything from master to calipers to pads in the front so this is about the last Thing I can think of. You also check the slides that pads ride on to make sure the pads can move freely and the slides are greased. Just my 2 cents.

Just replaced the rubber lines in the front. They have that T built in. The problem with the calipers hanging is totally gone. Just so you know.
