Thats a pretty common size tire and should be able to find more than 2 companies that make them. you could prob find a slightly used take off set for pretty cheap. well guess its to late now but just sayin...good luck on the new itty bitty wheels....j/k

Why every one down sizing? For gas reason our better performance? I just bought new tires I went from 275/55/20 to 285/50/20. Are 18's better than 20"?

Most do it for appearance reasons or in this guys case financial reasons but it will help your gas mileage. Not enough to really matter though.

I had my local tire man look for anything he could get. He came up with Mastercraft (Cooper), General and a Cooper tire. All $195.00. I went with the Mastercraft. tirerack.com shows BFG not interested in them. Michelin over $200.00. GoodYear Wranglers. Never run another Wrangler tire. And the rest are well over $200.00.

I'll just go back to $125.00 tires.

17" wheels are a good choice... Not only do you have less expensive choices on tires, but according to Ford they allow you to tow/carry more, 500 lbs.
