Toyo m/t or BFG k/o

I am trying to decide on tires and its between toyo m/t (33x12.50x18) or bfg k/o 305/65/18. I dont off road that much. but if I do its for hunting or work most the time. I have heard good things about both tires. I know i dont really need a mud tire but I like the way a mud tire looks. If you have ran any these tires whats the pros and cons on them? Im also worried about how many miles ill get out of either set. Im going to be going to college so i will be on the interstate a good bit.

You can not go wrong with either choice... But I would select the Toyos...

BFG AT's are better on the highway, less noisy and can last around 60k miles if taken care of. Not the most aggressive looking all terrain but one of the best. Toyo MT's are an offroad design that is pretty darn good on the highway. Not that noisy, look pretty aggressive and handle the wet stuff better then I expected. Both tires are pricey but close to the top in their classes. I've had both and you can't go wrong with either pick. I expect to get 40-50k miles out of my Toyo's.

I was in the same boat as you a while back and went with the Toyo's and have been happy with them, from what I've heard they are quieter than the Bfg's and wear slower. After 10,000 Miles mine show no tread wear they also look better than the Bfg's in my opinion.

I guess he's talking about 2 different type tires. A BFG KO is an all terrain the KM is the mud tire.
