Anybody runnning Fuel D508 Octane wheels?

I have a 2010 Super Crew and hit Les Schwab this morning to bolt up some American Racing Punishers in Black Chrome with 275/65/20 Toyo At's. They looked great but stuck out too far for my taste. They are a 20" x 9.5" rim with a 5.01 back spacing.

The Les Schwab Tech suggested the Fuel D508 Octane in a 20" x 9" with a 4.5 backspacing and -12 offset.

Won't they stick out just as far? I'm looking for something more flush from the fender flare.

I'm also considering the MB Chaos wheel in sliver which is coming out in a couple weeks with a 295/60/20 Terra Grappler through Discount Tire.

Any suggestions? anybody have the Fuel Octane 20" rim on their truck?

Thanks,

-Jeff

The Octanes will stick out an inch less than the Punishers and will still be 2.5" out farther than stock. You need the backspace to go the other way, 5.5 - 6. My 20x9 with 6" backspace and a 285 wide tire are perfect with the flare when I don't use spacers.

I'm pretty sure the fuel wheels come in a +12 offset too.

That would be an ideal size if you don't want them outside the fender.

I just bought a set of Fuel Octanes 20x9 with a +1 offset. Just waiting on the tires now.

Both wheels will stick out 2.5 inches farther than your stock wheel.
