Okay - im trying to decide between the below wheels (18")... What are your thoughts / comments?

I almost think a wheel like the black and polished 951's would look better only because you have like no chrome on the truck.

 

If you are going chrome I like the Eagles then Motos, not a big fan of Chrome Monsters personally

 

If thats your truck, I agree with John. You need something with black and machined. Chrome is not going to look good.

 

Thanks - the pic that TruckGuy24 posted is my truck... I agree that i need a little black in there - but the wife doesnt like the black. I need to work on changing her opinion...!

I am a fan of black wheels but I think chrome would look just fine on that truck. If they were black, then Monsters all the way, but in chrome, the Eagles then the Motos followed by the Monsters.

unless you plan on blacking out the truck stick with chrome.

do you plan on adding a leveling kit / larger tires ?

On your truck id go with the 951's.

the monsters are pretty fugly in chrome

and

the 064's are 18x10 w/ 4.5bs which will stick out a good amount

 

IDNC76 - yes, the plan is to add wheels (either 18x9 or 18x10 with a 2" or 2.5" levelling kit.

Also going with 325/60/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers...

What do you think?

 

Go with chrome for starters I like the Motos best!

The Eagles are the best looking but you are going to have a hard time finding them in the right size and backspace unless you are putting on a full lift.

 

Well like i said the 064's only come in 18x10 with 4.5 bs and with a 33/12.8 you might have to do some trimming and they will stick out a good amount.

Unless you like the wide stance, i would go with the 951's in 18x9 5.71 bs, however both will look great , i can say that bc i have had both wheels

to give you an idea of how far they ll stick out, heres a pic of a 10" wide wheel with 4.5 bs and a 12.5" M/T tire





Heres an older pic of my truck with 2.5" leveling kit , 20x9 951's 6.18 bs and 305/55R20 Nitto Tg's



currently have the Mazzi Hulks which is basically the same wheel. These are 20's with 38's

 

I wouldn't go with black wheels unless you black the truck out. JMHO

 

For your truck I think the XD Series - Monsters would look the best. The polished look is carried through with your step bars and concavity is closer to the stock look which enhances the style of your FX4... If you decide to go in a different direction I would choose something that is a cross between all black and all chrome...
