ABS Problem

I have a 2000 F150 4x4, it has the 9.75 rear end with Disk Brakes all the way around. My ABS Light has been on since the day I replaced the bulb in the cluster, but the truck has ALWAYS braked well/properly. My question is if someone took the 9.75 with drums and swapped to disk would that potentially cause the ABS pump to trip a code? If so what can I do to correct this if it were the case?

Any incite on this would be most appreciated, thanks.
