will this setup work?

okay all this on an 04 f150 with A 2" leveling kit.

im doin this for my buddy, a local shop said there is no way to fit 35's under it as is. i laughed.

okay hes stuck on 22" hoss wheels. the specs are:
RIM BRAND: KMC XD
MANUFACTURER PART NUMBER: XD79522963330
RIM SIZE: 22
RIM WIDTH: 9.5
NUMBER OF BOLTS: 6
BOLT PATTERN: 6x135
OFFSET: 30
RIM MATERIAL: ALLOY
RIM STRUCTURE: 1 PIECE
FINISH: GLOSS BLACK
BORE: 87.1
LOAD: 2200

they also have this wheel in a 00 offset. with the wheel being 9.5" wide with a 30mm offset we wont have to worry about control arm rubbing correct? hes stuck on toyo tires. here are the options imo:

LT305/50R22 119S E/10 (34X12.5R22) open country at
LT325/50R22 122R E/10 (35X13.0R22) open country at
35X12.50R22LT 117Q E/10 open country mt.

any advice would be appreciated.

The 34x12.5 would be the best bet and that's if the truck is a 4x4.

Even the 34 is gonna be tight. Thats a very wide wheel and only 2 inch leveling kit. there will be some trimming involved.

The BS on those rims is 15/16" MORE than the stock wheel, so I would think rubbing on the control arms would definitely be a worry. They would stick out about 1 1/16" further than stock, which isn't quite as much as the 18x9" XD's with +18 os like AZFX4 is running, so I wouldn't think rubbing on the fender or bumper would be a problem.

AZFX4's tires are 34.57" tall and 11.73" wide. The 305/50-22 Toyos are 33.9" wide and 12.4" wide. The 325/50-22 Toyo's are 34.8" tall and 13" wide. The 35x12.5-22 MT's are 35" tall and 12.8" wide.

My conclusions are as follows:

305/50-22: MAYBE, I would expect some control arm rub, and possibly trimming on the fender/bumper.
325/50-22: ABSOLUTELY NOT, I would not even consider that. Way too wide for that wheel's BS.
35x12.5-22: "

Ok, I tried to be knowledgeable. Somebody correct me please haha

After looking around a little more, I noticed that Wandell's Expy has 22x9.5 with around the the same backspacing, actually a little more, with 33x12.50's.

I think his best bet would be to pick whether he want his tires to stick out a bit or be tucked in and go with a 33x12.50 (305/45).....

There may be a possibility the 305/50's would fit on the 30 offset without too much problems. It would just seem to make sense that a non streetish tire with any sort of aggressive sidewall would rub the UCA with the 30 offset.

Hope that helps.

well what about the 00 offset? wouldnt that push the tires out a little? we are not worried about trimming plastic. however control arm rub is a major no. he really wants to run the MT.

Part No. -- Size -- Bolt-Pattern-Offset-Back Space -Hub Bore Notes

XD79522963300 22x9.5 6x135 0 5.25 87.1
XD79522963330 22x9.5 6x135 30 6.43 87.1

here are the two wheels. they are the hoss'. one has 0 and other has 30 offset. what do you think.

I would think his best best is to run the 0 offset with a 33x12.50.

yea thats what ive been trying to say. but he knows i will be doing 33x12.50x20 and he wants to go 1 size bigger on both. idc really, im playing with his money here. my combo will cost a grand less lol. and personally i think 2wd's look better with a leveling kit then 4x4's. JMO. but anyways... what do we have to do to get the 35's in there with the 22" hoss'?

There is a guy around here that put 35's on 10'' wide rims with 4.5'' backspacing and a 3'' leveling kit.

3'' kits are not recommended but he has that setup with quite a bit of trimming. I am sure your buddy could do the same if he is just dying to have 35's.

The other option would be a 3'' body lift.

When I first got my truck it had a leveling kit on there, Then I put a set of 325/60/18 nitto t/g on there with a set of 18x9 rims with 4.5" backspace and it would rub the valence and the back fender.
