anyone running LT275/65/20's?

Hello All,

About to pull the trigger on a 2010 Lariat Super Crew 4X4 and need to start my shopping list. Is anyone running the 275/65/20 either on the stock rim or aftermarket? If so, did it require a leveling kit and how big. I see them listed anywhere from 1" - 3". I would like to go up a little as possible and still clear.

I'm looking at the Toyo Open Country AT and possibly the American Racing Punisher in black chrome. I have this same setup on my Tahoe and really like the look.

I'm getting pumped for the new ride. I also have a 1999 F-250 4x4 and a 1970 F-250 4x2. I guy can't own too many can he?

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

I just put on 275/55 R20s. No problems. No leveling kit. 275/65's are over 2" taller. I couldn't tell you if that's too big, but it's certainly close. A 2" lift would certainly give you breathing room. Do a search in the forum. I'll bet you get lots of hits.

Thank you for the responses.

No-ones running a 275/65/20? The sidewall is only 1" over stock and the width is the same. It sure seems as though it would work. People here are putting in 305/55/20's and they seem ok.

Anyone else?

Thanks,

Jeff

I had 275/65-20 Goodyear AT/S on OEM wheels. No rubbing with just a 2.5 level kit. It's a 34x11.5x20 or pretty close. Goodluck

Yeah they should fit well, there was another member a while back that had them on stock rims and they looked great. I wouldn't go above a 2.5'' level.

I'm hoping to use the AS 1.5" leveling kit. Think they'll clear?

Digitalamish is right. 275/65/20 is 2"+ taller than stock. I want this setup myself I'd also like to see a pic w/ the duratrac's or ta ko's.
