Saleen wheel guys....have questions
Hey guys, before I order the wheels I have a couple questions.
On my '07 FX4 Screw I'm wanting to do a decent drop and throw on the Saleens w/ some 305/40/23's.
First what tires are you guys running. Secondly could I get buy w/ this size tires on all +30 offset? How bout +44 offset? (Rubbing after dropping is a main concern)
I'm familiar w/ making wheels sit flush and rolling fender lips as my 350Z was slammed and flush, however not sure if I could still squeeze a +30 in the front after a 2/4 drop or a 3/5 drop. Pics w/ specs of offsets and tires sizes would be appreciated.
Thanks guys (Oh and could you post what drops/brand you have).

I beleive the offset is measured from the center of the wheel.. thus, the smaller measurement (30) would be closer to the axle. But then I looked up a definition of offset and really got confused.
So is that right? 30 tucks under truck more and 44 pops out a bit to allow for larger brakes, if so desired

The more positive offset a wheel has , the more the center of the wheel is pushed out towards the front of the rims thus tucking it in more , if that makes sense.
44mm is for the front.
30mm is for the rear.

yeah i know that is the way a standard set runs, but have seen some packages on e-bay in the same size. my preference is to keep them as tucked as possible..

How much do you want for your wheels and where do you live?
