Nitto Terra Grappler Issue

Nitto Terra Grappler Issue

Has anyone ever had this happen to there set? My local dealer has never seen this nor Nitto. Im lost..should I be worried about this? Tires are about 6 months old.

No, the steel belts should not be coming through the rubber.

THEY ARE defective, bring them back to where ever you got them and get a new set

yeah you should definitely be able to get a new set out of the deal....unless somehow you punctured it by hitting something.

If Nitto is mfg by Toyo, there has been a recent recall in their All Terrains. May want to check this out.

Thanks for the insight..the shops wanting to charge me for a new tire and credit me back... IF Nitto declares it a warranty deal. I don't have extra funds at this time to pay for another tire. Pretty discouraged with Nitto and my local shop. Everyones pointing fingers at each other.

Sounds like your problem is the local shop, not Nitto/Toyo.

After seeing this I got worried and went to nittos website and saw the recall. But its only on 305's on twenties I believe. Is that what your running?

Absolutely. I would raise hell at the shop, they are responsible for taking care of that kind of issue, and then working with the manufacturer.
