Treadwrite Tires

Has any one had a set of Treadwrights for awhile?
What kind of tread wear can I expect?
So far I love these tires. I have the Guard Dogs and they look great and perform well in the mud. The only think I'm concerned about is the tread wear, and its way to soon for me to tell. The rubber seems very soft.

Tread wright

We have had 5 sets of these tires over years with no problems at all. They all wore as good as some of the new tires we had. I just ordered a set of 285/70/17 yesterday for my 06 4x4 scab, The way they look, and the price, I'm suprised more people don't try them. looking forward to putting them on.

I am looking at a set of these for my jeep. Do the side walls have the original tire markings or are they blacked out ? I like the Guard Dogs too but was curious as to what the side walls looked like.

They will send you white letters if you request them when you place the order. If you don't request them they'll send black sidewalls. They say that they always try to send matching tires no matter what. But if you request matching tires with your order they will get you matching tires. Just tell them exactly what you want. I got four BFG KO's.
So no they do not black out the original tire markings. Even up close you can not tell these are retreads. My tires look like a brand new set of BFG's except for the Goodyear tread pattern of the Guard Dog. You can not beat the price either.

Treadwright Tires

Just mounted the 285/70/17 Warden A/T , Came with matching BF Goodrich casings. The ride and look very good, As I said before this was the 5th or 6th set of Treadwright/Hightech we owned over the years and never had any problems, My two sons had them on a Ranger 4x4 and a F-150 4x4, a couple sets on 2 Monteros, They lasted years, As long as the quality remains the same I'll continue to purchase these tires.

Just had my 285/65/18's mounted and these are night and day from the old stock goodyears. I just don't see how people say these aren't safe, they look like a brand new tire to me and don't they fuse new rubber onto the casings??

Interested in these treadwrights. Digging up an old post but Im curious how these tires held up over time. I just got the 3" leveling kit on my truck and am looking to up size my tires next. I have 285 70 17s on there now... what else will fit?
