Can I do it without rubbin?

Guys,

I have a 2006 FX-4 with a 2.5 leveling kit on the front. I have the factory 20's but added a 285/65/20. these tires fit without any problems. I need new shoes and I was thinking of going with a 325/60/20, will that work without causing me an issues?

If those will be a problem, what other sizes should I consider? I defintily do not want the truck to sit much lower.

I know: 305/55/20...might sit a little lower for me....

Those are around 33 in size. Stock Fx4s can run them. You can run them with no problems what so ever. Since, you have the 2.5 leveling kit. Heck if you really wanted to, you could run 35's.

Thats is a 35 actually. Go with the 35's. On stock rims, the size looks perfect on a full size truck imo.

You can look at the 35x12.50R20s.

A 325/60-20 is basically a 35x13.00-20 tire. A lot of members have had problems with some 325mm wide tires rubbing the upper ball joint when using the OEM 20 inch wheels. I'd stick with a narrower tire.

Depends on the aspect ratio, the 315 is the width in mm.

315/25.4 = 12.4 inches wide
a 315/55R20 would be 33.6x12.4
a 315/60R20 would be 34.9x12.4

haha...315 is just the width. like 315/75r16 or 315/70r17 ==35's 12.5
305/70r16=33's 305/65r17=33's 12.2 and so on as the rims get bigger

Like on a 315/70r17, the width is 315mm, the sidewalls equal 70% of the width. both #'s account for the height
I just knew that had to be bigger than a 33...lol

A 35x12.5x20 will fit fine on the stock rims with a leveling kit.

Some will. Some 35x12.50-20 mud terrians with aggressive sidewall lugs will rub the upper ball joint.

Lol...they should just make them all simple. ex. 35x12.50, 31x10.50, etc.

You mean upper control arm, right?
