need help!!!

I just got new wheels for the '05 2wd with 2.5" Leveling kit. They are 18" Moto Metal 951's with 4.5" BS. The problem is that now I need to get tires, but what size?? I'm thinking about the 325/60/18 Nitto Terra Graps. Will that even fit?? I want to get the biggest tire under it with little to no trimming. Any thoughts???

with my 2wd setup 3" body lift-16x10" rims and 305/70/16 33"x12.5" mud graps i had some trimming to do. i would say no higher than 33"x11.5 tire, or 33x12.5 with those wheels but even then you will have to trim some im sure, but its not a big deal ive trimmed plenty and looks great

I'm not afraid to trim, but the less I have to, the better.

I don't think 325/60-18's will fit without more lift or major trimming because of their width and the shallow backspacing on your wheels. I'd suggest a 285/65-18 (33x11.50) or at the widest, a 305/60-18 (33x12.50).

i agree with wandell. you would be ok with 33x12.5, but definatly not to 35s. i can tell you that my 305s on 16x10s fill the wheel well nicely and 35s would be too big

I agree with wandel no bigger than a 33x12.50. I just got a set of 33x12.50x17's. Actually having them put on in about an hour.

I know Wandell knows what he his talking about, so I don't mean to argue with anyone, but I know some of the guys on here are running 325/60/18s. I really like the look of that size on the f150s. Would there be any way to fit them, or would I just be pissing into the wind?? Any comments from the guys who run that size??

Most people running 325/60-18's have 4x4's which sit about 2 inches taller than your 4x2.

No problem at all man. Just want to make sure you don't wind up with fitment problems. Some people don't want to have to hack up a bunch of plastic to fit a tire.

A 305/65-18 is essentially a 34x12.50 tire. I'd stick with a 33 inch tire.

If no objection, I think the final decision is the 285/65/18 Nitto Trail Graps.
