Brake questions... EEK!
Okay, well then I think that I did okay.
I saw no part in buying the same OEM parts, that seemed to wear out early.
I figured that I would upgrade to something so that either they would last longer, or at least work better.
I ended up going with the Power Slot Alloy Cryo-Treated Rotors. For the front two rotors.

I figured if I was in there, I might as well upgrade the pads too.
So I went with Hawk HPS Street Brake Pads.

Also, even though I painted the Calipers a couple years ago, I think that I'm going to re-do them. New coat of paint, and more red this time.
They said that the back ones could be turned so I'll probably just do that for the backs.
Any thoughts?

If you broke the rotors lose when you pained the calipers it is possible you may have some rust caught in behind the rotors. When that happens the rotors wobble much like a warped rotor, and will slowly wear unevenly and eventually be shot. You have to make sure the hub and back of the rotor is clean and the rotor mounts flush on the hub.
I replace my rotors with Brembos and they have been great so far. I don't believe you save enough money turning rotors today, just replace them. Make sure you take a wire brush and clean every up real good.
