22 inch Rims and Tires
I have the same truck as neilboy. Anyone have opinions on how a 285/45/22 or 305/45/22 would look on the stock wheels? (I'm not sure the 305/45/22s would fit, but I think they will...I don't want to do a leveling kit). Towing and snow traction are the most important things to me. My boat is approx 4500 lbs, so it's nothing too extreme, but I live in Colorado, so I have less power because of the altitude, and I have to pull the passes occassionally.

Since this post was brought back up, here are a couple of pictures.
These are the Ford Dealer option wheels.
285/45 R22 Pirelli

305/45 R22 Goodyear

The 305/45 rides and handles better and has better curb rash protection than the 285/45. My speedo is only off 2% which is easy to keep up with. They did cost me 1 mpg though

Thanks Nielboy, they are 22" Dub Ballers. I traded them for my oem 20's. Tires are Nitto 420S, much wider than stock, feels more stable on the road compared to the stock Pirelli's I had.
Do you have a picture that shows the whole truck with the good years installed you could share?

Everything I've seen and read is Factory Stock rims 2" Leveling kit with 35" tires work.
I ran my 2008 FX4 SuperCab with 35" Mickey Thompson tires on 17" Mickey Thompson Classic Lock Rims. Mild rub at a Turn With a Flex.
Now I just purchased a 2010 Harley Davidson Edition I'm more of a Off-roader than a Streeter. My plan is to Level it. Then I want to run 325x50x22. I'm not a big fan of 22" rims but I really like and want to keep the Harley Rims / Factory Rims on it. I've slightly Evolved since my last build.
Question is I know they will fit but am questioning the Back Spacing on them. I'd love to put a 4" lift but it MUST fit in the Garage. With that lift it will not.
Any Ideas???
After the rims
