ABS Pulsing Brake Issue

I have noticed in the last few days that whenever I go through a parking lot at no more the 15 mph or less, and I lightly push my brakes the ABS kicks in and the pedal does the normal pulsing. First thing why is my ABS kicking in at this slow of speed with very little pedal pressure? I have changed the driver's side sensor (which was going bad), and changed the rear sensor. I have checked the passenger sensor and others yesterday, and the computer says they are fine. But my ABS is STILL kicking in at these slow speeds. Now it will NOT do it when I go over 20 mph. It does not act up while coming to a stop at a red-light. Any help is greatly appreciated.

have you tried taking it to a dealer for them to check?

My only guess is that your larger wheels and tires are causing problems with the ABS tuning...

As if right now, the issue has been resolved. It was a result of my brake lines getting worn out. One blew, and the other two were on the verge of blowing themselves. Check out the link in the last post to see what fixed the issue.

Well found out that the brake lines were NOT the culprit. It was my front driver's wheel bearing being COMPLETELY shot. Thankfully the problem was found out before any serious issue resulted from it. So, now they will be replacing both bearings so I will have no more worries.

38's on IFS tends to cause these kinds of issues... this kind of stuff is why i have not made the jump up to 38's from 35's, although I have enough lift to do so.

Well considering they had 176K miles on them AND 61K of that was on my 38's, I think they lasted pretty good. But then again she is a street queen.

for future info abs can kick in at 10mph or higher
and also if your abs light came on you would have an abs problem whether its a sensor PDS ect.....
