HELP..need ur expertise

Guys..need ur help. I have an 06 FX4 w 2" level. Found a sweet deal on 18" FX4 rims w toyo 325 65 18 except they rub when twisting all the way on a couple of places. My dilemna is this..are there consequences from having this tight of a fit?is having spacers to help not a good idea bcause of the 4X4? Any adjustments from dropping from OE 20s to OE 18s?

their probably rubbing on the front corner bottom of the bumper. most people with a level and 35's have to trim this. i believe they also rub in the middle of the back part of the fender. alittle dremel work and no more rubbing. its pretty common.

but if your rubbing on the frame, its just a wide tire and you might just have to deal with it. your fine, it just gets alittle annoying.

Your only problem is a 325mm wide tire is too wide for the OEM 18x7.5 inch wide wheels. Running a tire on a rim that is too narrow can cause the center portion of the tread to wear faster than normal, similar to running too much air pressure.

Thanks for all your help guys........I'm going to try them out and see how they work out, if they dont.. i'll put them up for sale. Dont care too much about the rubbing just want to make sure theres no excess pressure on my suspension, transmission, etc....well, guess there would be but it's all in the name of looks....or vanity..LoL! The truck looks killer though, especially since i have the 20s w/ factory pirellis which im going to keep in case the 325s are just to problematic.
