Backspacing question.

I'm looking to buy the 04-08 Ford Racing "Lightning" rims for my truck. it seems the "4WD only" 20x10's are much less expensive than the 2WD only 20x8.5 (i think there's a 20x9 or 9.5 as well...)

The 4wd has a backspacing of 7.125" and the other has 6.56"

Is there any reason these rims wouldn't fit on my 2wd '08 with a 2/2 drop on it?

Thanks for the help guys!

Good question. The most backspacing I've ever noticed on a wheel for an 04-08 was 7 inches.

Hmmm okay. would they be sticking out far with 7.125" of backspacing? I'm tempted to buy them and see for the price of them, just don't want to be stuck with rims that don't fit lol.

The more backspacing, the more the wheel tucks in. The 22's on my Expy wheels are 9.5 inches wide with 6.71 inches of BS.
