Need help before deciding on wheels!

I was about to pull out my debit card to pay for these when the guy at Discount Tire told me they may not fit. They're a -6mm offset and I plan on running either a 275/45r20 tire or possibly a 275/55r20 tire. Any help is appreciated! I've been stuck on these tires for awhile, but they're discontinued and the -6 offset are the only ones left.

2003 F150 stock height (if I lower at all, I will only go like an inch lower in the front).

wheels I'm talking about:

I'm not too familar with fitment on lowered 4x2's, but I'd use the OEM Harley wheels as a guide. They came with 275/55-20's and were lowered an inch over other 4x2's.

thanks wandell...I know that size tire will fit, but I'm not too familiar with offset and backspacing and what will fit. Its the wheels I'm worried about. They said the -6 offset is the reason they "may" not fit.

How would they not fit? Like, what are you worried about them not fitting on/around/over.. etc.?

He said that the -6 offset might cause them to rub on the fender...I'm thinking he didn't know what he was talking about, which is why I came on here to ask.

I dont see how it would get close to the fender?

I have no idea if this is valid but I was told that the offset is how far the lip is pushed away from the center of the wheel. My truck has a -38 offset which makes it a really deep wheel with a huge lip on it. Stock wheels have a really positive offset so the lip is very minimal. I could be WAY off, but thats how it was explained to me.

If that^^ is true, and you are not decreasing or increasing the diameter of your wheel/tire combo, then I don't see how you could rub. All you are going to see is a wheel with a set-in "center". If it means anything, I ran 285/75s on my truck with 16x10s and a -38 offset(which is ALOT more than -6) on stock suspension. I know your new set wont be close to that size in diameter and that set-up had me barely rubbing on the fender wells at full lock. I would say that you will be just fine, but then again I could be wrong. Its my .02$
