I have another question if anyone is still willing to help. My plan was to go with a 2" Readylift leveling kit which is really just a spacer. Any feedback on those kits?? Should I go with something different or maybe add some new shocks? When all is said and done, I'd like to still have a decent ride.
Be aware the 305 60 18 nittos are P rated tires not LT rated.
HERES A PIC:

Is that a 305/60 on a Nitto? That definitely helps with the visual.

However, aren't those factory rims? If I go aftermarket (18 x 9 w/ 5.71 of BS and 18mm offset), won't I actually look wider than that?

Yep 305 60 18 nittos on fx4's. They are not LT rated like the 325's are and they were very mushy feeling like driving on marshmallows. I sold them with very little miles on them due to that fact.

Can't say for after market rims but can say they look tiny in person and you'll here lots of comments about that. due what you feel comfortable with, I hated them, size, look, ride everything, plain hated them. They look in person no bigger then the 275 65 18's the truck came with.

Your tires will stick out more but the tire won't really look much wider. I think you should go with the 325/60/18's -- they are LT rated and from what I've read it seems that you are wanting a wider 33" tire.

If you are dead set on nitto terra graps then look at the 295/70/18. The tire is almost 1" wider than stock, is an E rated LT tire, and it would give you around a 34.25" tall tire. I know after having my leveling kit on my truck for a year now I would prefer a taller and little bit wider tire compared to my stock 275/65/18s. If you go with the 60 or 65 you are going to have alot of open space between your fender wheels and you will regret it. Listen to me and the others as when you level it out a wider and taller tire looks better !

Agreed. I've actually gotten so many different opinions that now I'm leaning towards just beating on my factory tires (on new rims) until their worn out and maybe buy new tires later once I've had a chance to receive more pics.

With a 295/70, wouldn't that give the tire/rim a very tall skinny look? I kind of like a fatter, stockier wheel......but I also agree that I do NOT want a bunch of open space. Any chance you might have a pic laying around of that combo? Thanks for the reply man!!!

I am not running these on my truck but fellow member lawmanfx4 is. Here is a link to a pic in his gallery. I think they look good on a leveled out truck. Hope this helps you out

That does look good. Thanks alot for that man!!! Definitely like the Nittos...trying to go that route. I saw some 325/65's on the street yesterday and that was the first time I've ever seen them in person. That's definitely wider than I want to go.

You are welcome for the info and pic. I had been considering the terra grapplers but the trail grapplers are getting great reviews so far. I like the look of it and nitto makes the trail grappler in a 295/70/18 too. The more I look at this tire the more I like it as its not overkill but better than stock

If anybody is still following this thread, please forward options for tire/wheel vendors. I'm having a really hard time finding the wheels I want. Every vendor I check only has a few options that will fit. I have checked 4wheelparts (they actually show more than what is even available), discount tire, wheelfire, etc. Am I missing any???
